Nestled along the river, and renowned for its stunning views and elegant architecture, the Riverside Quarter was the site of a recent interior design refurbishment we completed in Wandsworth. We transformed the apartment from its existing state into a fully realised, luxurious home.
The entire project spanned the best part of a year. It included the design stages, on-site construction and full furnishing. The apartment was then handed over to our delighted clients. From the outset, our goal was to create a seamless, end-to-end experience. We combined meticulous planning with finishing touches that elevate a home from beautiful to exceptional.
This project perfectly illustrates the value of our comprehensive design process, where every detail – from CGI visualisations to project coordination – is carefully considered and executed. The results speak for themselves: a sophisticated, functional and visually stunning apartment ready to be enjoyed for years to come. Every successful interior design refurbishment in Wandsworth begins long before the first hammer hits the wall. For this Wandsworth apartment, our process started with a full design package and continued with hands-on project coordination at every stage.
We began by creating full CGI visualisations of all areas, allowing our clients to experience the proposed layout, finishes and furniture choices in advance. These visualisations ensure clarity and alignment with the client’s vision. They also reduce surprises later in the process.
Next, we carefully selected all finishes and fixtures, from joinery materials to lighting solutions. Each element was chosen to harmonise with the apartment’s overall aesthetic. This included bespoke lighting plans, careful selection of hardware and premium kitchen and bathroom fittings.
Once the designs were approved, we produced a comprehensive construction drawing pack. The appointed main contractor used this pack to quote and build from. Throughout construction, we liaised closely with the contractor to ensure they had all the information required to execute the works to our exacting standards.
This structured, collaborative approach ensures that every element of the project – from structural changes to decorative finishes – is carried out with precision and elegance, creating a cohesive and luxurious home environment.
The transformation for this interior design refurbishment in Wandsworth began with a careful strip-out. This included the existing kitchen, two bathrooms, flooring, fitted storage and much of the existing furniture. Once the apartment was cleared, we focused on preparing the walls for decorating and upgrading the electrical systems. This included installing new downlights, floor washer lights, new switch plates and power sockets throughout. At this point we also ensured the electrics for the new kitchen and bathrooms was perfectly configured.
We meticulously refurbished the existing wood flooring. It was sanded, re-lacquered, and carefully covered to protect it throughout the remainder of the works. Meanwhile, our team constructed the new joinery off-site and brought it in for precise fitting, while underfloor heating and air conditioning systems were overhauled and serviced to ensure optimum performance.
A key highlight of the apartment is the bespoke media unit. Designed by us, it incorporates ceiling speakers, a soundbar and a 60″ TV. The kitchen was also fully custom-built, featuring a 3-metre island finished in a cracked bronze effect, complemented by a beachy-effect quartz worktop. Miele appliances were installed throughout, including a wine fridge integrated into the island, creating a kitchen that is both beautiful and highly functional.
The bathrooms were entirely reimagined with recessed LED strips, mirrored cabinets, and built-in niches in the showers. Wallpaper was carefully hung and pendant lighting installed. Graff taps and accessories completed the luxurious finishing touches.
As the construction phase drew to a close, carpets were fitted and protected, joinery finishes finalised and curtains and blinds installed. Finally, we brought in all furnishings, unboxed, arranged and styled each item to complete the interior.
The final stage, handover day, was a true highlight. Together with the contractor, we met the clients to guide them through the finished apartment. Their delight in seeing the space realised exactly as envisioned was incredibly rewarding.
This Riverside Quarter project perfectly demonstrates our philosophy of coordinating every aspect of a refurbishment from concept to completion. By working closely with both our clients and skilled contractors, we ensure that each project is executed to the highest standards, combining luxury, functionality and meticulous attention to detail.
From CGI visualisations and finish selections to bespoke joinery, electrical planning, and final styling, every stage was carefully managed. The result is a Wandsworth apartment that is not only visually stunning but also thoughtfully designed for modern living, capturing the full potential of its riverfront location.
Projects like this one exemplify why we love what we do – collaborating with talented contractors, bringing design visions to life and delivering homes that truly delight our clients. It’s this combination of precision, creativity and coordination that turns ambitious interior design ideas into lived, beautiful reality.
